I build AI systems, and the checks that keep them honest.
I’m Ganesh Gunasegaran, GG to most people, based in Pondicherry, India. I currently work as a staff engineer at Fluxon. One question runs through the systems I build: does this actually work, or does it only report that it does?
Learning is where I ask it hardest. People forget skills they stop using, and tools can hide that loss by continuing to produce the work. The systems I build for learning make that change visible while there is still time to act.
Alongside engineering, I study classical Indian philosophy and write on the mechanics of attention, holding each old claim against what modern evidence can test.
What I build
Kalvi is the learning system I am building. It teaches what you want to learn so it lasts, shows you honestly where you stand with the tools you lean on and without them, and lets you prove it. The evidence stays in a record you own.
My agent work, experiments and public tools, including Arivu, Viveka, vazhi, Dream-RSI Local and Nodi, are documented on the projects page.
Before these: IBM/HCL (WebSphere MQ on Tandem NSK, an SSL/TLS module in C), two companies of my own, merchant fintech at Lummo/BukuKas, AI and platform work at Turing, and now Fluxon. The timeline is on the resume.
What I write
Essays on AI systems and agents, on the writing page. Four books, free on the books page: a short map of the six schools of Indian philosophy, two on Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, and one on the Bhagavad Gita.
The mark
The mark is a Latin G drawn as one brush stroke around க, the Tamil letter my names begin with. GG, one initial in each script.
